Postdoc RT2 – Dr. Elisa Priglinger
The youngest member to join the core team was an Austrian National, Dr. Elisa Priglinger. She studied at the University of Vienna, Egyptology and Classical Archaeology. Alongside her studies, she worked on various excavation sites in Austria, Egypt and Israel and utilised her field experience also with some important archiving work later on. In 2014, she spent some time at the Oriental Institute in Chicago, USA and she worked on several projects as a research assistant. In September 2015 she organised the 5th International Congress for Young Egyptologists in Vienna.
Her main areas of expertise and research areas are: Archaeology and History of the SIP; Egyptian Historiograpy; Cultural contact between Egypt and the Levant; Migration Studies; Nomadism.
