PhD RT4 – Silvia Gomez-Senovilla MA

Silvia Gomez-Senovilla, a Spanish National, started her post at the same time as Ms Vilain did. She spent a few years in the UK where she studied Egyptology at the University College in London. Besides that she gained a Certificate in Advanced Studies – Egyptian Archaeology at University Autonoma of Madrid (Spain) and a MA in Archaeology from the Università Ca’ Foscari venezia (Italy).
Her research and study interests are in History and Archaeology: Middle Kingdom – Second Intermediate Period; Culture contact between Egypt and Nubia, Egypt and the Levant; Egyptian Language. Egyptian Linguistics. The PI, Prof. Bietak, will be her supervisor in her PhD studies at the University of Vienna.
